Aevo Aevo: RPGThe game itself is a storydriven, single player RPG. It is not a "sandbox" type game, there are not a lot of "branching paths" for "moral" choices (i.e. fable or bioware). The plot is based off the Aevo Novel. Basic interface is a realtime/pause system (using space bar to pause realtime action and issue commands) similar to Bioware's games. It is a third person over the shoulder view with a zoomable camera, similar to WoW and uses the same movement mechanics (WASD+Mouse). Ranged combat is indicated by a targeting reticle on the ground, and optimum damage system displayed by green, then yellow and non-hittable/no damage in red. The game includes dynamic day/night/weather system, along with a plethora of magic capabilities/systems. The game also includes a functional season/time system that includes an astrological system influencing your characters traits depending on time of year. The game also includes a totemic system that also allows your character to affiliate with different animals as another way to fine tune your character's capabilities and call forth on affiliated animal types in your area (at the detriment of more easily aggroing antagonistic totemic animals). The game will have a heavy mystical shamanic aspect to it. |
