AevoTacticsBoardgame Aevo Tactics: BoardgameNot very fleshed out and will radically change. Parts: Plastic board with ridges to set square landscape tiles. Square landscape tiles that have counter indicators for glass beads Glass beads that indicate "mana" used to play spells Spell strips are cardboard 1/3 the vertical height of the board pieces with little custom art. The game is started by each play taking turns laying land tiles on the board with matching land next to each other. Players then place the beads indicating the types of mana that land contains. Water = Blue Earth = Green Air = Yellow Fire = Red Say a tile has upper right corner be water. and the other area is land. The tile will indicate that that there's 1 water mana, and 3 earth mana symbols on the tiles So the player places 1 blue and 3 green beads. There are always 4 mana units on a tile. Once the board is filled up, the players then take turns playing their spell strips. Each strip has a piece of art of the creature being played, a number indicating what it requires to cast (1-3 "points" of mana), it's range (close, medium, or long (determines which "line" you can place it on -- i.e. front line, mid line, or back row -- hence why it's 1/3 the size of the tile) and basic damage/attack. Icons for any special ability is also on it. That's the basic interface |
