Octopia is an abstract strategy game with diamond/feather shaped pieces that are arranged in a circular shape as the game progresses.
The pieces themselves are 2 sided. One side has the background color of player 1, and the other side has the background color for player 2.
One each side of the pieces are 3 dots colored in various combination. This allows for potentially 8 options to play.
0 = black color of player 1 1 = white color of player 2

Each dot of a players color is worth 1 point. the background color is worth 3 points. As players place pieces down, they have to match/exceed the colors of the dots somehow and can flip an opponents piece to their background color.
The game can be themed. The first version is black/white/gold trim (like ancient greek art) drawings on pottery
